Review prerequisites and pricing information before using Ncloud Kubernetes Service.

Cloud specifications

The following are the cloud environment prerequisites required to use Ncloud Kubernetes Service:

VPC Virtual cloud space for creating Kubernetes clusters. Create VPC
Subnet Subnet within a virtual cloud space.
  • Only subnets within the /17-/26 range are available within the VPC CIDR ranges (10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16).
  • Subnets within the 172.17.0.0/16 range cannot be used to prevent conflicts with the Docker bridge range.
  • Subnets dedicated to load balancers cannot be used.
Create Subnet
Load Balancer Subnet Subnets for load balancers to be integrated with clusters.
  • Only subnets within the /17-/26 range are available within the VPC CIDR ranges (10.0.0.0/8, 172.16.0.0/12, 192.168.0.0/16).
  • Public LB Subnets and Private LB Subnets are required to create load balancers by network type.
  • Subnets within the 172.17.0.0/16 range cannot be used to prevent conflicts with the Docker bridge range.

Multi Zone cluster service limits

Review the following before creating a Multi Zone cluster:

  • Multi Zone clusters are supported only in the Korea Region.
  • You must select a Kubernetes version that supports Multi Zone.
  • After creating a cluster, you cannot change the availability type (Single Zone/Multi Zone).
  • You must select at least 1 general (VM) subnet for each Zone.
  • For a Zone with a Bare Metal subnet, you must also select a VM subnet.
  • You can select up to 50 subnets per clusters.
