Once you've reviewed the Media Intelligence specifications, quickstart, and glossary, you're ready to start using the service. Your first step is subscribing to Media Intelligence.

Subscribe to the service

To subscribe to Media Intelligence:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. In the top-right corner of the console, click Region and Platform.
  3. Select the Region and platform you are using, then click [Apply].
  4. In the top-left corner of the console, click Menu.
  5. Navigate to Services > Media > Media Intelligence.
  6. Click [Subscribe].
  7. In the subscription popup, read the terms of service, and check the agreement checkbox.
  8. Click [Subscribe].
  9. When the workspace settings appear, enter a workspace name and click [OK].
    • Enter 3-63 characters starting with a letter or number. You can use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens (-).
  10. Check the availability of the workspace name and click [Next].
  11. When the storage settings appear, click [Bucket] and select the bucket to use.
  12. When you're done, click [Next].
  13. When the subscription completion step appears, click [OK].

Unsubscribe from the service

To cancel your Media Intelligence subscription:

Caution
  • Unsubscribing from Media Intelligence permanently deletes all your service data. This action cannot be undone. Consider carefully before unsubscribing.
  • Data stored in Object Storage is retained even if you unsubscribe from Media Intelligence, and Object Storage usage fees are incurred. To delete the data stored in Object Storage, see Manage file/folder.
  • You cannot unsubscribe from the service while an index is being analyzed.
  • You cannot unsubscribe unless all created workspaces are deleted.
  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. In the top-right corner of the console, click Region and Platform.
  3. Select the Region and platform you are using, then click [Apply].
  4. In the top-left corner of the console, click Menu.
  5. Navigate to Services > Media > Media Intelligence.
  6. Click the Subscription menu.
  7. Click [Subscribed] and then click Unsubscribe.
  8. In the unsubscription popup, review the details and enter the name of the workspace to delete.
  9. Click [OK].
