Manage subscriptions

Available in Classic and VPC

Once you've reviewed the user environments, supported specifications for Video Player Enhancement and become familiar with the overall quickstart and glossary, you're ready to start using the service.

Your first step is subscribing to Video Player Enhancement. You can subscribe to and manage Video Player Enhancement in the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

Subscribe to the service

To subscribe to Video Player Enhancement:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. In the top-right corner of the console, click Region & platform.
  3. Select your Region and platform, then click [Apply].
  4. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
  5. Click [Apply for service].
  6. Choose a pricing plan to subscribe in the Select service.
    • View the features to be provided for each pricing plan in Features.
  7. Click [Apply for service].
  8. Click [OK].
    • You're now subscribed to the Video Player Enhancement service. The contract information will appear.
    • To subscribe to the additional service, Media Analytics, first create a player, then subscribe to the Media Analytics service.

Subscribe to Media Analytics

The following shows how to use Video Player Enhancement and apply to use the additional service, Media Analytics:

Note

You can apply for Media Analytics when you must use a paid pricing plan (standard) in Video Player Enhancement and have a created player. To upgrade from the free plan to the paid plan, see Upgrade to a paid plan. To create a player, see Create player.

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. In the top-right corner of the console, click Region & platform.
  3. Select your Region and platform, then click [Apply].
  4. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
  5. Click Media Analytics.
  6. Click [Subscribe].
  7. Click [Complete subscription] after entering the required information on the Media Analytics creation interface.
    • Admin ID, Confirm email: Enter email address as the ID for the Media Analytics manager account.
    • Check in the required consent box after reading the necessary instructions for service use.
  8. Click [Confirm] in the Complete subscription popup.
  9. You should set the password after checking the email sent to the provided email address and clicking [Email authentication].
  10. In the Media Analytics management page, you can log in with the manager account ID and password.
    • You are now subscribed to the Media Analytics service. You can check the integrated players.
Note

The player is automatically integrated only when you first set the password for the Media Analytics service, and players created thereafter must be integrated manually. To integrate a player, see Integrate with player.

Upgrade to a paid plan

The following is how to upgrade Video Player Enhancement service to the paid plan (standard):

Caution

Once you upgrade to the paid plan, you can't switch back to the free plan.

  1. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
  2. Click Video Player Management.
  3. Click [Upgrade to paid plan].
  4. Click [Change pricing plan] after checking the price and provided features on the service subscription interface.
  5. Click [Confirm] after checking the content in the change pricing plan popup.
    • You are now upgraded to the paid plan.

Unsubscribe from the service

To cancel your Video Player Enhancement subscription:

Note

You should first delete all the created players to unsubscribe from the Video Player Enhancement service.

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. In the top-right corner of the console, click Region & platform.
  3. Select your Region and platform, then click [Apply].
  4. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
  5. Click Video Player Management.
  6. Click [Service unsubscription].
  7. When the Service unsubscription popup appears, enter Unsubscribe and click [Unsubscribe].
  8. Click [OK].
    • Your subscription is now cancelled.
    • The Media Analytics service is automatically canceled as well.

Unsubscribe from Media Analytics

The following is how to unsubscribe from the Media Analytics service while subscribing the Video Player Enhancement:

  1. Access the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
  2. In the top-right corner of the console, click Region & platform.
  3. Select your Region and platform, then click [Apply].
  4. From the NAVER Cloud Platform console, navigate to Menu > All Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
  5. Click Media Analytics.
  6. Click [Service unsubscription].
  7. When the Service unsubscription popup appears, enter "Unsubscribe" and click Unsubscribe.
  8. Click [OK].
    • Your subscription for Media Analytics is now cancelled.
Note

Unsubscribing from Media Analytics stops integration with all players.
