Subscribe and unsubscribe

Available in Classic and VPC

If you view usage environment and support specifications of the Video Player Enhancement service, and understand entire usage scenario and terms, you are ready to start to use the Video Player Enhancement service. Now, the first thing to do is to apply to subscribe the Video Player Enhancement service. You can subscribe the Video Player Enhancement service and manage subscription in NAVER Cloud Platform console.

Subscribe

The following is how to subscribe the Video Player Enhancement service:

1. Access NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. From the Region menu, click the Region you are using.
3. Go to the Platform menu and click the platform you're using.
4. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
5. Enter the [Apply for Service] button.
6. Choose a pricing plan to subscribe in the Select Service.
   • View the features to be provided for each pricing plan in Detail Features.
7. Enter the [Apply for Service] button.
8. Click the [OK] button in the prompt for subscription.
   • You are now subscribed for the Video Player Enhancement service and the contract information will appear.
   • To subscribe the additional service, Media Analytics, create a player first then subscribe the Media Analytics service.

Subscribe to Media Analytics

The followings are how to use Video Player Enhancement and apply to use the additional service, Media Analytics:

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.

2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.

3. Click the Media Analytics menu.

4. Click the [Subscribe] button.

5. Click the Complete Subscription button after entering required information on the Media Analytics creation screen.

   • Manager ID, Confirm Email: enter email address as the ID for the Media Analytics manager account.
   • Check in the required consent box after reading the necessary instructions for service use.

6. Click the [Confirm] button in the subscription completion prompt.

7. You should set the password after checking the email sent to the provided email address and clicking the [Confirm Email] button.

8. In the Media Analytics management page, you can log in with the manager account ID and password.

   • You are now subscribed to the Media Analytics service. You can check the integrated players.
   Note

   The player is automatically integrated only when you first set the password for the Media Analytics service, and players created thereafter must be integrated manually. To integrate a player, see Integrate a player.

Upgrade to a paid plan

The following is how to upgrade to the paid plan (Standard):

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
3. Click the Video Player Management menu.
4. Click the [Upgrade to paid plan] button.
5. Click the [Change Pricing Plan] button after checking price and provided features on the service subscription screen.
6. Click the [Confirm] button after checking the contents in the change pricing plan prompt.
   • You are now upgraded to the paid plan.

Unsubscribe

The following is how to cancel subscription from the Video Player Enhancement service:

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
3. Click the Video Player Management menu.
4. Click the [Service unsubscription] button.
5. Click the [Cancel] button after entering "cancel" on the service unsubscription prompt.
6. Click the [OK] button in the service unsubscription prompt.
   • You are no longer subscribed.
   • The Media Analytics service is automatically canceled as well.

Unsubscribe from the Media Analytics service

The following is how to unsubscribe from the Media Analytics service while subscribing the Video Player Enhancement:

1. Click the environment you are using in the Region menu and the Platform menu on the NAVER Cloud Platform console.
2. Click Services > Media > Video Player Enhancement.
3. Click the Media Analytics menu.
4. Click the [Service unsubscription] button.
5. Click the [Cancel] button after entering "cancel" on the service unsubscription prompt.
6. Click the [OK] button in the service unsubscription prompt.
   • You can unsubscribe for the Media Analytics service.
