SourceBand is a collaboration service that supports not only project scheduling and task management but also CI/CD automation and development pipeline setup through its workflow features.
With SourceBand, you can easily share and manage tasks with your team members, and efficiently monitor your work schedules and work flow through its intuitive interface.
By using workflow to automate build and deployment processes, you can build a more efficient development and operations environment.

SourceBand features

SourceBand offers these key features:

  • Convenient project issue management: You can register and manage various issues that arise throughout the project and share them with your team members in real time.
  • Visualization of tasks and maximization of efficiency: SourceBand provides multiple task views for Kanban boards, tables, and roadmaps, as well as a user-friendly interface including drag-and-drop feature between tasks and tagging feature.
  • Developer Tools suite integration: SourceBand provides integration with NAVER Cloud Platform's Developer Tools suite services, so you can easily manage the progress of current tasks, source code associated with tasks, and more.
  • Integrated management of projects within the organization: SourceBand provides a page where you can track and manage all of your organization's project issues at a glance.
  • Configuration of CI/CD pipelines through workflow features: You can use YAML or a visual editor to automate build and deployment steps and design an optimized pipeline.

Q. How is SourceBand configured?

  • To use SourceBand, you must create an organization. SourceBand manages user groups based on their organization. You can create multiple projects under an organization.
  • You can manage issues that arise across projects/tasks. SourceBand provides Kanban boards, tables, roadmap pages, and an intuitive user interface.
  • You can view and manage multiple project issues under the organization at a glance via the integrated board.
  • You can improve development and operational efficiency by building a CI/CD pipeline using workflow features.

Q. Can I grant sub account permissions for SourceBand?

  • You can grant permissions for SourceBand from i_menu > Services > Management & Governance > Sub Account > Sub Accounts on the NAVER Cloud Platform console's VPC environment.
    • NCP_INFRA_MANAGER: Permission to access all services, except that access to the console menu My Account > Manage billing information and expense > Manage billing and payment is restricted
    • NCP_VPC_SOURCEBAND_MANAGER: Full access to all SourceBand features
    • NCP_VPC_SOURCEBAND_VIEWER: Permission to only use features to view the list in SourceBand
