Available in Classic and VPC

You can build your digital twin data with NAVER Cloud Platform’s ARC eye. You can view how to use ARC eye at Getting started or Using ARC eye. But, first of all, it is recommended to look at the complete ARC eye usage scenario. Read the use method after learning the usage scenario for the best use of ARC eye. Here's the entire process for using ARC eye:

1. Set user permissions
2. Subscribe to the service
3. Create project
4. Establish scan plan
5. Scan space/object
6. Build data
7. Operate and manage API
8. Set notifications
9. Utilization. Develop map and application

1. Set user permissions

Set the usage permissions to use ARC eye. Map the "role" to the "sub account" that NAVER Cloud Platform’s Sub Account issued to define ARC eye usage permissions. Therefore, you need to first create sub accounts other than your main account through Sub Account.

Note

Sub Account is a free service with no additional charges. For an introduction on Sub Account and more details about pricing plans, see the Service > Management & Governance > Sub Account menu in the NAVER Cloud Platform portal.

You can use sub accounts provided by Sub Account to configure admin permissions and individual user permissions of the ARC eye service. For detailed instructions, see:

2. Subscribe to the service

First, have a consulting session with the NAVER Cloud worker through CS and get approval. Then, apply for ARC eye on the NAVER Cloud Platform console. For detailed instructions, see:

3. Create project

Create a project with a feature you want to use for using ARC eye. For detailed instructions, see:

4. Establish scan plan

Effectively set scan areas and routes to collect data. For detailed instructions on how to configure scan scenarios, see:

5. Scan space/object

It provides dedicated equipment and applications for collecting space or object data. The following user guides provide reference on how to rent and use the scanning equipment or scanning application.

6. Build data

Build the location data in a form you want in a project created using the digital twin technology. For detailed instructions, see:

7. API operation and management

You can operate the service by deploying the created API through the process of Step 4. For detailed instructions, see:

  • Visual Localization project
  • Visual Object Tracking project

8. Set notifications

Set the person to receive the notification upon finishing the location data conversion task. For detailed instructions, see:

9. Utilization. Develop map and application

You can develop AR content using the VL/AR SDK and create maps for robots using the AMapper tool. For detailed instructions, see:
