Available in VPC
Datafence is a NAVER Cloud Platform service that helps you build large‑scale analytics infrastructure easily, manage it flexibly, and analyze data in a secure environment where arbitrary external export is controlled.
Datafence features
Datafence offers these key features:
- Security controls to protect data: Blocks unnecessary communications with external storage and controls access to the analysis environment to prevent data leaks. Sends alerts when the analysis environment changes to minimize export risks.
- Easy setup and operations: Use the web‑based console to set up large‑scale analysis environments, monitor them at a glance, and manage them conveniently. You can also configure a customized infrastructure depending on analysis purposes and usage and change its settings.
- Stronger data governance with add‑on features: Partition public data into small groups and manage view permissions per analysis environment (Box). The analyst responsible for analysis tasks can import data or request the export of the data analyzed. The administrator who has data can approve or reject export requests through an adequacy examination.
- Integrated with NAVER Cloud Platform services: Use GPU servers, TensorFlow servers, Cloud Hadoop clusters, and other infrastructure. You can integrate with the security and management services of NAVER Cloud Platform to adhere to compliance and use cloud-based flexible infrastructure resources.
