Available in Classic and VPC
ARC eye is NAVER Cloud Platform's fully managed digital twin service that comprehensively encompasses indoor and outdoor spaces. This service provides a Visual Localization feature that can simultaneously increase efficiency and accuracy by utilizing the AI-based positioning API and various mapping devices required to build digital twin data, and a Visual Object Tracking feature that can recognize the location of objects in the image. When you connect the Visual Localization feature and the Visual Object Tracking feature, you can use it for various complex services, such as Augmented Reality (AR) content.
ARC eye features
ARC eye offers these key features:
- A fully managed service with reasonable cost: Based on cloud computing, you can use a fully managed service for building and using the digital twin data with reasonable cost, such as the large scale data storage and processing system and API management.
- Mapping devices supported: ARC eye provides wearable mapping devices, the digital twin production solution that NAVER Labs developed. You can easily build the digital twin data in a short time using a device.
- Mapping applications supported: Using the ARC eye Scan app developed by NAVER Labs, you can collect image data through mobile devices. You can quickly and conveniently scan a small space (up to 50 m x 50 m) or a specific object.
- Step-by-step data processing: All stages in building the digital twin data are broken down into each function, so you can use the complicated digital twin technology easily and efficiently.
- Customized space storage: The stratified locations of spaces enable you to design the data storage to fit your need.
- Data conversion feature for 2D mapping: The data conversion feature allows you to convert the street view and Point Cloud Data (PCD) files into 2D mapping materials.
- Recognition of an object's location in a space: ARC eye recognizes the location of an object in a video taken by a mobile device and offers the APIs for the object to use for AR content.
