Live Station is a video encoding platform service that provides all the necessary features for building a live broadcasting service.
With Live Station, you can convert a single Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) original stream into multiple multi-bitrate output streams and transfer videos by packetizing them for HTTP Live Streaming (HLS).

Live Station features

Live Station offers these key features:

  • Ultra-low latency (approx. 3 seconds) LL-HLS streaming service.
  • Various additional features specialized for Internet broadcasting, including Live Short Clip, Live Curtain, VOD2LIVE, and RTMP streaming redundancy.
    • Live Short Clip: Create real-time short clips using the DVR feature of the live broadcasting being streamed.
    • Live Curtain: Allow the administrator to temporarily replace the playback screen of a live broadcasting channel being streamed.
    • VOD2LIVE: Broadcast a recorded video file as a live stream.
    • RTMP streaming redundancy: Automatic switching to a backup channel ensures stable streaming if the main broadcasting device or channel fails.
  • Convenient re-stream feature: Re-stream broadcasts to various social media platforms such as YouTube and Afreeca TV.
  • General channel: Stream general live broadcasting where devices and channels are connected 1:1.
  • Easy usability: The CDN auto-creation option enables immediate broadcasting simply by creating a channel and configuring quality settings, without complicated setup.
  • LL-HLS: Provide the industry's first cloud-based, CMAF-enabled HLS service with an ultra-low latency of 3 seconds.
