Live Station is a video encoding platform service that provides all the necessary features for building a live broadcasting service.
With Live Station, you can make a single Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) original stream into multiple multi-bitrate output streams, and transfer videos by packetizing in HTTP Live Streaming (HLS).
Live Station features
Live Station provides the following features:
- Super low latency (around 3 seconds) LL-HLS streaming service
- Various additional features specialized for Internet broadcasting: offering additional features such as Live Short Clip, Live Curtain, VOD2LIVE, and RTMP streaming redundancy
- Live Short Clip: you can create real-time short clips using the DVR of live broadcasting being streamed
- Live Curtain: allows the administrator to temporarily replace the playback screen of a live broadcasting channel being streamed
- VOD2LIVE: you can broadcast a recorded video file as a live stream in real-time
- RTMP streaming redundancy: in the event of a problem with the main broadcasting device or main channel, automatic switching to a backup channel ensures stable streaming
- Convenient re-stream feature: you can re-stream broadcasts to various SNS broadcasting platforms such as YouTube, Afreeca TV
- General Channel: you can stream general live broadcasting where devices and channels are connected 1:1
- Easy usability: CDN auto-creation option allows broadcasting service without complicated settings just by channel creation and quality settings
- LL-HLS: the cloud's first CMAF-based HLS service with ultra-low latency of 3 seconds is provided
